China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is the flagship project of the “One Belt and One Road” Initiative. It aims to improve the connectivity between China and Pakistan through the roads, rails, pipelines and optical fibers, along with the constructions of energy infrastructure projects and industrial Parks. Considering the security situations of Pakistan, the CPEC projects will face different threats in different provinces. How the Pakistani Civil Government and the Army guard and protect the CPEC will be crucial to the success of the Projects.
